2025 Porsche Taycan Expands with All-New 4 and GTS Variants

  • Porsche reveals its three new variants to the Taycan EV lineup for 2025.

Porsche has debuted three new variants to its prodigious lineup, graced by a Taycan 4, Taycan GTS Sedan, and GTS Sport Turismo. The Taycan 4 remains an affordable choice for owning a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version to experience the Porsche nimble charm. 

Whereas the GTS model slots precise between Taycan 4S and Turbo, blending prodigious traits and sporty gizmos as standard. Additionally, the Sport Turismo debuts as a wagon, something many enthusiasts will appreciate.

Taycan 4: AWD Performance with Two Battery Choices!

The new Taycan 4 follows the previous long-roof wagon-styled Taycan 4 Cross Turismo agenda, now wraps around the body of a sedan. Two battery options are now available to customers, Standard and Performance Plus packs juicing to 82.3 kWh and 97.0 kWh useable capacity. 

The iterated Taycan 4 coupled with standard setup cranks 402 horses and 302 lb-ft of torque, when launch control is initiated. While the prodigious Performance Plus dials up the figures to 429 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. Despite having a dual-motor setup, the new Taycan 4 beats the former rear-wheel-drive model with just 4.4 seconds vs 4.5 seconds, likely to be a gimmick to many.

What’s more? The Taycan 4 experiences more standard features than the base model including Matrix headlights, Aero 19-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, Porsche’s active dampers, and more. The longue now offers a 10-speaker audio unit, partially swathed by the aroma of opulent leather. Starting at $105,295 plus additional charges.

Taycan GTS: 690 HP with Advanced Chassis Tech

The Porsche now slots a new pair of GTS models between its pre-existing sportier lineup, with refined figures, boasting 93-hp more than the former GTS lineup, with launch control engaged. Making the GTS experience a total 690-hp thrust with a 100-hp gain. Porsche claims the GTS sedan and Sport Turismo to crack 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, standing 0.4 seconds swifter than the Taycan 4S and 0.6 seconds languid than the Taycan Turbo.

Inside the GTS features 18-way adjustable adaptive seats, GT’s steering wheel, plus Sport Chrono Package. What’s more? GTS model features unique chassis calibration, riding on (PASM) system as standard, where Active ride suspension and rear axle steering as optional.

Porsche now adds Slate Grey Neo, Pale Blue Metallic, and Purple Sky Metallic colors to its lineup. Both models are now available to order, expecting delivery near the first quarter of 2025. Whereas GTS and GTS Sport Turismo starting at $149,895 and $151,795 respectively.
