Stunning New Audi A6 Avant Previews Next-Gen Sedan for the U.S.

Audi is conducting a massive makeover for their scintillating models. Including the well-known A4, and the compact stablemate of the Audi Q8, the 2025 Q5 marks the beginning of their third generation for being the top sellers.

However, the Audi A8, the RS7, Audi RS3, and the luscious S3 are not on the menu. Audi is set to unveil the new Audi A6 Avant in the wagon segment. Though it won’t grace the U.S. market, at least the Allroad and RS models, where a sedan will carry its character for the European market.

48-Volt Hybrid Power

The European market receives a duo of powertrains. Featuring a 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged cranking 201 horsepower, plus a diesel turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder powering the front wheels, with the same numbers.

However, the U.S market will exclusively welcome a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 362 horses and 406 lb-ft torque, propelling the four wheels, aided by a 48-volt electric system with a 1.7 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, can deliver an extra 24 horses and 170 lb-ft of torque. Where the 2.0-liter marks 0-60 mph in 8.3 seconds, the V6 bolts 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

Advanced At Every Corner

The A6 Avants gizmos include a rear steering wheel with an all-wheel-drive, stiffer torsion bar, and control arm bushing, and shoppers can avail of the Quattro Sport rear differential for more agility.

Inside, a trio of screens dominates the front length. Offering a main 14.5-inch touchscreen slanted towards the driver, an 11.9-inch digital cluster, and an optional front passenger 10.9-inch screen and heads-up display.

What’s more? Panoramic sunroof, a Bang and Olufsen audio unit, an optional four-zone climate control, and more.

Pricing and Availability!

Deliveries begin at the end of May in Europe. The gas-powered four-cylinder starts at $61,000 at current rates, while the A6 sedan is expected to come out later this year, and the U.S. market is expected to receive its sales in 2026. Expected to start at $60,000, and may experience a more capable 4-cylinder along with a V-6 in the U.S.
